Want to save $$ on your homeowner insurance?

If you have not had a wind mitigation inspection done on your house, you might be missing out on some significant discounts.

The wind mitigation inspection looks specifically at the construction features that would protect your house during a wind storm – roof shape and construction features; how the roof is attached to the walls; the building code in effect when the house was built, and a few other such things.

Discounts from this inspection report can be as much as 30% of the wind portion of the premium.   Although it’s not typically that much, it is almost always more than enough to pay for the inspection.  It costs about $125 - $150 and you get the savings every year forward!

The inspection must be done by a property inspector certified by the state to do wind mitigation inspections.  If you don’t know of one, we can help put you in touch with some good ones in your area.
