Umbrella Liability Insurance

The homeowner insurance policy provides public liability coverage in the amount of $300,000, plus unlimited defense costs for any legal action related to the property insured by the policy. The Umbrella Liability policy provides an additional $1,000,000 of liability coverage under the same terms and conditions as the underlying coverage in the homeowner policy. No causes of loss, conditions or other coverages are added, limited or excluded. The limit of coverage is increased by $1,000,000. (It is, however, a separate policy and not an increase of coverage in the homeowner policy.)
